My story: In 2007 I was hit by a drunk driver, fracturing my spine. A year later, another car accident caused by an intoxicated driver left me with torn shoulder ligaments and joint damage. After years of unsuccessful physical therapy, I was told I would have to learn to live with the pain rather than solve it. That was the day I walked into a gym for the first time.
After a few short months of consistent strength training, my aches and pains began to disappear. Years of pain were erased with just a few hours in the gym each week, giving me back the confidence and freedom that was sorely missed, and spurring a desire to share that feeling with others. We’re the only personal training gym in the Twin Cities focused exclusively on helping adults 40+ lose weight, gain strength, and increase their energy without fad diets, spending every day in the gym, or using harsh workouts that just hurt your joints.
I’m a dedicated husband to my wife, Katy, as well as a father to our two girls Shay (5) and Sophia (2), so I know a thing or two about staying fit and healthy despite a crazy schedule.

SOTA Small Group Personal Training (SGT) combines the specificity and accountability of 1-on-1 personal training with dynamic energy of a group setting. SGT offers best of both worlds at about a third of the cost of traditional personal training. Sessions are 60 minutes long and implemented in groups of 3-5 on average.
We're located at 2837 Hedberg Drive in Minnetonka, conveniently located at the intersection of Hopkins Crossroad and Cedar Lake Road. We're just South of 394 and just North of Highway 7!
